We give tons of yarn inspiration in the lookbook, but if you're really curious: 100% cotton yarn with a 4.5 mm crochet hook works great!
If you've crocheted before, you can finish it in one day. New to crochet? No problem! It takes a few days, and it's actually the perfect pattern to learn with.
It's a PDF, available in both English and Dutch. You'll also get an extensive lookbook with hats made by our testers. Great for inspiration and as a reference for your own yarn choice and sizing.

I decided to learn to crochet because of this design! I don’t speak Dutch, but I learned the techniques with the Dutch videos and reducing the speed of the full video guide of the hat. I’m really pleased with the English recipe and my final result! I’m definitely going to create more hats for presents!

Ik vind het een zalig patroon! Het haakt lekker door, je hebt snel resultaat en het hoedje is echt super cute. Ik heb op een paar dagen tijd al vijf hoedjes gemaakt, voor de kindjes van vrienden en familie. En ik kan niet wachten om ze cadeau te doen en ze op hun hoofdjes te zien.
